Martin Guitar & America on Wheels

* We start our day with an interesting visit of The Martin Guitar Company. As a visitor on the factory floor, your guided tour will show you how their guitars come to life through the hands of the craftsperson as more than 300 separate steps are required to complete one Martin guitar. In the Museum you will see a collection of historical instruments, memorabilia and photographs as they tell the Martin story - past & present. The on to America On Wheels, a museum of over the road transportation with their unique collections of bicycles, automobiles, trucks and other vehicles that celebrate the motor vehicle heritage of the U.S. They showcase the nation's transportation systems from its roots including carriages, motorcycles and trucks to the latest in transportation technologies. Come along for what is sure to be a most delightful and informative day!

Because of its location, The Brooklyn Tabernacle has a unique open door to minister to the cross-cultural melting pot of New York City. We will be joining them in their 12 noon service and also at 3PM. We will hear an inspiring message and also have the opportunity to hear the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir as they minister to us in music. Come with an open heart and mind to receive the blessings in store for all of us this day. This would be a wonderful way to start your week!

Some of the groups that have been there in the past are the Faith Harmony Boys, Forgiven, Valor III, the Sonshiners Quartet and many others. Some folks who have gone with us several times throughout the years look forward to returning for this weekend again and again! We will be attending concerts on Friday and Saturday nights as well as the Jam Session and Quartet Extravaganza on Saturday afternoon. This is a great weekend event at a beautiful location! * Experience one of America's premier narrated trains with wildlife, fall foliage scenery and history - it's all here on the Potomac Eagle in Romney, WV. This is one of America's most beautiful train rides and you will want to be sure to bring your camera! We will go through "The Trough", a narrow gorge through which the South Branch of the Potomac River runs. This area is accessible only by rail or small boat and is known to be the nesting home of the bald eagle. We will also be stopping at a Country Store in Romney before taking our train ride. Come along for a day of railroad FUN at its best!

* Plan now to join us on what has become known as a 2-day fun-filled "Retreat on Wheels"! Stopping for breakfast and rest stops, we will arrive in Williamsburg in the early afternoon. On Monday afternoon, you will have 3 choices: Shopping at the Williamsburg Pottery, OR visiting the Yankee Candle flagship store OR visiting the historic Williamsburg restored area. On Tuesday, we will be going to the Pottery and/or the Williamsburg Outlet Mall for the morning and then traveling to Potomac Mills Mall for the afternoon and early evening. Wear you good walking shoes and bring your Christmas list to either start or finish your shopping!

Linda "Fun Time Sunshine's" Birthday Tour

* This year Linda "Fun Time Sunshine" will be 65 years old and she would love to have you come along and celebrate this momentous occasion with her. We will be traveling to visit the Antique Auto Museum at Hershey, PA (Is the key word here antique?)! Along with the displays of vintage automobiles in unique scenes and settings is the Museum of Bus Transportation with the largest collection of buses on display under one roof in the United States! Then on to beautiful Hotel Hershey where we will have a delicious meal and an informative tour of this landmark hotel. You will also enjoy the panoramic views of the gardens and Hershey valley. Now... for the rest of the day... we are not quite sure what we will be doing... therefore the reason that there is not a price. Please call us to have your name put on the list to receive the information on this tour when everything is finalized! It is sure to be a "Frogtastic" day!
